Topic: Smoothwall Firewall

Speaker: Greg Canter

Presentation:

Greg will give a demonstration of the Open Source firewall appliance
known as "Smoothwall".  He will perform an installation, run through the
configuration options, and discuss some things about the fork of the
Smoothwall project, known as "IPCOP", which is hosted on SourceForge. 
For those wishing more information on Smoothwall, their website is
www.smoothwall.org.  They also have a commercial organization that sells
many "smooth" products that are related to their GPL product.

Bio:

Greg Canter is a programmer in the Kennesaw area who has been using 
Linux/OpenBSD for the past year and a half.  He has been programming in 
the Atlanta area for the last 6 years.  He is a firm believer in Open 
Source and considers himself extremely lucky to finally be doing 
professionally what was once "just a fun hobby".
