[ale] OpenOffice spreadsheet

I am just not seeing how to do this in "pure spreadsheet".

I have a list of numbers in a spreadsheet row. I want to add the 5
largest of the numbers in the row. I can select _the_ largest. But I
can't see how to remove it from the list and select the next , iterating
through the 5 I want.

My gut reaction is to dump it to a shell/perl script, but I'm being
stubborn about learning how to actually use a spreadsheet.

OpenOffice is pretty slick, but the documentation does need a lot more
work.
