[ale] Archiving Mailboxes in Evolution

I would like to Archive my Evolution Mailboxes and start wiht empty disk
again.  I will burn the Archive to CD.  Has anyone done this?  I'm using
version 1.0.3 (1.0.3-6) and I can not seem to find an archive feature so
I just thought I do it by hand
