Wanna thank everyone on this thread here as well for taking the time to 
reply,very much appreciated. 

Got the DSL up and going to both boxes via a Netgear RP-614 router..seems to 
do the job I need so far..pretty easy install too...

Never been on DSL before, what a diff from dial-up !!  :-)
