[ale] df help

The quest for space continues. I tried uninstalling a few packages (like 
postgr) and have gotten up to a wopping 26% free space. This install would 
simply *not* work on the hard drives that I use for Windows 98. I feel like I 
am missing something - like there is an extra gig lying around.
