dos2unix has been replaced by the more generic recode.  Recode will
take one encoding and translate it to another.

Here are my aliases for the dos2unix and unix2dos:

alias dos2unix='recode ibmpc..lat1'
alias unix2dos='recode lat1..ibmpc'
