[ale] Securing WLANs -- Excellent Paper

If you're or your company is looking at using wireless LANs (WLANs), you
need to read this paper!  NASA's Advanced Supercomputing Division recently
published the Wireless Firewall Gateway White Paper at
http://www.nas.nasa.gov/Groups/Networks/Projects/Wireless/index.html.  I've
discouraged WLAN implementations because of the difficulty of securing them,
but now here is a great solution.  Network administrators should review this
material, which is a neatly packaged methodology for conveniently securing
wireless devices with a minimum of reconfiguration at the client side.  The
paper is also a great example of the how the Open Source model empowers
users to solve security challenges.  I don't know of any way this solution
could have been accomplished with Windows server technologies.
