[ale] Resolving

Sorry... by "resolving" I meant both from domain name to IP and from IP to
interface. "ifconfig" returns everything I would expect it to return (ie IP
address, MAC, modes, etc.). I don't see any problems with drivers. Any
idea on what it could be?
