[ale] Anyone got ieee1394 HD running under Debian2.2 ?

GoodDay !

Just installed 2.2_v3 and want to install a 'Firewire' HD.

What are the steps ?

I have tried the patch [error complaining about /bin/ed] and CVSd the
code to create the module [make err->Rules.make] and am at a loss.
