[ale] Pulling a DHCP address from WinNT

The reason I mentioned the distribution is because the prior distro
(Mandrake 7.0) worked w/ the NT DHCP server.

Thanks to all who replied, I'm setting up tcpdump on a nearby solaris
system so that I can capture the dhcp request traffic.
