[ale] Mouse does not work

Do you know the correct option to place in XF86Config file for this.

It reminds me of a couple of options that 'xf86config' presents you with
when you tell it you have a Mouse Systems 3-button mouse (I don't know if
that's what your "generic" mouse is).  It says (and I quote):

You have selected a Mouse Systems protocol mouse. If your mouse is normally
in Microsoft-compatible mode, enabling the ClearDTR and ClearRTS options
may cause it to switch to Mouse Systems mode when the server starts.


Please answer the following question with either 'y' or 'n'.
Do you want to enable ClearDTR and ClearRTS?

Maybe this is the effect your cat command is having and if you had X do this
at startup everything would be okay.


Or, maybe not.
