i just partitioned my hd as such:
hda1 = 10 megs for /boot
hda2 = WIN95 FAT32 LBA
hda3 = linux
hda4 = extended
hda5 = WIN95 FAT32 LBA
hda6 = linux
hda7 = linux
hda8 = linux swap
I have put linux on it BEFORE putting win 95 on (i know typically its easier
the other way around, but i don't need windows right now);
anyway, the question is:
when i try to install windows will it fubar my /boot (hda1) partition? will
it be a matter of:
-installing win98 on it's 2 little partitions
-allowing it to overwrite MBR (kill poor lilo)
-boot of linux cdrom;
-add entry to lilo.conf for other=hda2, etc
-rerun lilo
will this put me where I want to be for a dual boot linux/win box? or am i
overlooking something?
