[ale] VMware and 2.4.16?

VMWare 2.0.4 is working for me under 2.4.16.  You need to download a patch 
that fixed some problems that were introduced when the 2.4.7 kernel came 
out.

Once I installed this patch, I've been able to rebuild modules by running 
the vmware-config.pl script without any problems.
