[ale] Still more mgetty + CID questions

Hello again!

First, a hearty thanks to all who answered my earlier question(s) about
setting up mgetty and trying to get callerId and the cnd-program working.

Secondly, it still ain't there. The mgetty log shows that the caller ID
info is available, but my cnd-program script is not getting called. So
a few more questions have arisen:

1) I'm running RH 7.1, and the config files are in /etc/mgetty+sendfax.
Is this the correct default location?
2) Does RH 7.1 mgetty have CNDFILE defined?
3) Does mgetty need to answer the phone to send the CID data to cnd-program?

TIA, again!
