[ale] Telnet on 7.1

I do know the disasters that can ocompany telnet but I am only using this
system on my internal lan.....port 23 is alreay blocked from the outside
world via firewall.

That goes without saying, but I was giving him the benefit of the doubt.
Anyone who doesn't understand the security implication of using telnet has
no business doing sysadmin work.
