[ale] hosts file problem?

When you type
%hostname and
%hostname -f
on each of them, what do they say?
tomahawk's might be set to just tomahawk. If you want to change it, run
%hostname tomahawk.mydomain.com
or you can change it in /etc/hostname and it should be read upon reboot.
