it was from old memory,
I think it is from the EEPROM thing (aka, the sparc counterpart of
BIOS/firmware. it is interactive through a command-line interface. at
boot, send a 'break' signal will get you the prompt.). make sure the
boot-device variable didnot contain 'net' or at least some disk device
come first.
ok printenv boot-device
ok setenv boot-device disk
