Chris,
Â
You need to do a stop a or a break during boot to get to the boot prompt (ok>) then change boot device.....

I have a sparc10 I want to run Linux on. I need to load Linux on the unit and the unit tries to boot from Ethernet. How can I disable that?
I keep getting the following error message:
Timeout waiting for ARP/RARP packet
I can use arp to provide an address, but I need to boot from the hdd to see if Solaris is loaded. Hoe do I tell the system to boot from the drive not Ethernet. I'm not using video, I'm using serial console.
Chris
