Hello all,
I'm trying to compile 2.2.16 from the source code. Probably going brain
dead here, but below is what I get on the make install. make dev and make
clean run just fine.
/usr/src/linux-2.2.16/include/linux/coda.h:733: parse error before `}'
make[3]: *** [firewall.o] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.2.16/net/core'
make[2]: *** [first_rule] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.2.16/net/core'
make[1]: *** [_subdir_core] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.2.16/net'
make: *** [_dir_net] Error 2
I have looked at /usr/src/linux-2.2.16/include/linux/coda.h all around
line 733 and can't see anything amiss (however, while I can find my way
around code, I am NOT a programmer.) I've been compiling kernels since
pre 1.x First time I've run into this.
I'm running RH 6.1 and kernel 2.2.13 #4 currently. I'm compiling in ip
forwarding and masq ( and yes, I have it successfully running in
2.2.13. I'm pretty much sticking by my 2.2.13 config file.
I know I'm missing something, but what ?
Steve
