Yes, it uses Microsoft CHAPv.2.  I thought that Linux PPP understands
both CHAP and MSCHAPv.2.

Ok,
  I can dial into the NT network at work on my laptop with windows.  If
I check the advanced stuff it says I'm using M$ Challenge Handshake
Authentication Protocol.  I tried to set up "pppconfig" to use CHAP but
it fails to authenticate.  Anyone seen anything like this?
