[ale] ppa & RH7.0

I've got a zip drive I'd like to use with my RH7 computer. I've got
scsi support compiled in my kernel.

Block size seems screwed up, too. See following:

[root at ws6 linux-2.2.16]# modprobe ppa
ppa: Version 2.03 (for Linux 2.2.x)
ppa: Found device at ID 6, Attempting to use EPP 32 bit
ppa: Communication established with ID 6 using EPP 32 bit
scsi1 : Iomega VPI0 (ppa) interface
scsi : 2 hosts.
Vendor: IOMEGA Model: ZIP 100 Rev: J.03
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Detected scsi removable disk sda at scsi1, channel 0, id 6, lun 0
SCSI device sda: hdwr sector= 512 bytes. Sectors= 196608 [96 MB] [0.1
GB]
sda: Write Protect is off
 sda:SCSI disk error : host 1 channel 0 id 6 lun 0 return code =
27010000
scsidisk I/O error: dev 08:00, sector 0
 unable to read partition table

[root at ws6 linux-2.2.16]# fdisk /dev/sda4
SCSI error: host 1 id 6 lun 0 return code = 27010000

Sense class 0, sense error 0, extended sense 0
sda : READ CAPACITY failed.
sda : status = 0, message = 00, host = 1, driver = 27
sda : sense not available.
sda : block size assumed to be 512 bytes, disk size 1GB.
 sda:scsidisk I/O error: dev 08:00, sector 0
 unable to read partition table
SCSI error: host 1 id 6 lun 0 return code = 27010000

Sense class 0, sense error 0, extended sense 0
sda : READ CAPACITY failed.
sda : status = 0, message = 00, host = 1, driver = 27
sda : sense not available.
sda : block size assumed to be 512 bytes, disk size 1GB.
 sda:scsidisk I/O error: dev 08:00, sector 0
 unable to read partition table

Does anyone have a solution to this? I used to have this running under
RH6.x.
