[ale] no ftp access

Good Morning,

Our shop is using wu-ftp 2.6.0 and we cannot ftp to our servers. We are
recieving a log in prompt but then get a username or password was rejected by
server error. I do know we are using nis and have shadow password enabled could
this possibly be a factor in the problem?
