Well, my current provider says he can, but he's at BellSouth's mercy and
can't get them to cooperate.  He was the first to actually give a name
to the technology they are using, IFTL (Intergrated Fiber Through the
Loop).  He tells me that BellSouth has to do something on their end in
order to make it work, and they are dragging their feet.  I don't doubt
that, but I don't believe it's all BellSouth.

Elsewhere, in that I can go back to AT&T for cable service as well as
local phone service.  Noting that BellSouth will still be getting $$
from the local phone service.

My ISDN line is coming down Oct 31st.
