I've put dxpc on my machine at work and at home. I do the following:
(IP's scrabmbed to protect the ignorant)

On my machine at work (where I currently sit) :
  {0}:dilbert:/home/roharris>dxpc 63.11.211.233
  dxpc proxy running in SERVER mode
  trying to connect to remote proxy...
  using image compression level 999
  connected to client proxy
  ready

On my machine at home:

{0}:wally:/home/nomad>dxpc -d 69
  dxpc proxy running in CLIENT mode
  using image compression level 999
  connected to server proxy
  ready
  [1] + Stopped              dxpc -d 69
  {0}:wally:/home/nomad>bg
  [1] dxpc -d 69
  {0}:wally:/home/nomad>
  {0}:wally:/home/nomad>export DISPLAY=wally:69
  {0}:wally:/home/nomad>xterm
  Xlib: connection to "wally:69.0" refused by server
  Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server
  xterm Xt error: Can't open display: wally:69

Without dxpc, I can do an "xterm" by setting my DISPLAY to my work
machine and it works ok.

Thoughts?

:wq!
