[ale] POP mail server

The only thing in my maillog file is sendmail logs no entries.....

I don't even have a /var/spool/mail directory. Maybe it's looking for that?

No mail in ~root/dead.letter.

Any other ideas................

Did you check /var/log/maillog to see if it logged the transfer?

Check /var/spool/mail/* to see what accounts do have mail.

Did the mail end up in ~root/dead.letter ?
