[ale] Installing Linux w/ Existing NT partition

There are folks who have disagreed with this, but it's never failed me. 
I currently have two laptops with dual boots of Linux/NT and in both
cases, I've got LILO installed in the mbr.  Both machines came with a
preloaded NT.
