[ale] Connecting through a Spring PCS???

I'd call again and ask *why* it won't work with Linux. If the answer is "because
the software we give you only runs on Windows" then you've been given an
non-answer. You would next ask to speak with someone who knows the provided
software deeply and maybe then you can find out what you need to accomplish in
Linux to get it to work.
