of course, /dev/psaux is the real mouse not ttyS0, which is the serial
mouse at COM1. do the following and you shall be happy.
root# cd /dev && ln -sf psaux mouse
If you still have problem, check if the your ps/2 mouse is really there
supported by the kernel.
root# dmesg|grep psaux
