Good evening
I'm trying to mount a Windows drive under my linux FS. I'm trying to
use Samba in order to do it. I've used the command:
mount -t smb ////mysys//mydrive /windows
Now as far as I can tell, it should work correctly, except that "mysys"
is a MASQ'd system behind my firewall. the mount command attempts to look
for "mysys" out in internet land and replies with a timeout error. I've
thought to replace "mysys" with the MASQ'd IP address, but I get in return:
Session request failed (131,130) with myname=MALAMBER
destname=10.1.1.1
Called name not present
Try to connect to another name (instead of 10.1.1.1)
You may find -I option useful for this
I've tried using the -I (specified IP address) option under mount, but I
get an option error.
Does anyone have an idea on how I can get this to happen?
Thanks
