/proc/filesystems still has the iso9660 listed.
Even if I mistyped the original command, when using the Disk
Management applet (from AfterStep, which should mount using the
proper command) I _still_ get the error.
But... I'm out of town now... and can't get to it.
Thanks,
Scott

You may mount either way, by the device or by the inode. Inode,
as Josh
suggested, may be a better habit as you can use differing mounting
points to refer to different filesystem types on the same physical
device (i.e. /mnt floppy for msdos disks and /mnt/fd0 for ext2
disks,
with both being /dev/fd0).
First check to make sure you have a valid CDRom in there. (Sorry,
got to
cover all bases)
Then, make sure /dev/cdrom is still linked to a /dev/hdX (in
my case
/dev/hdd yours may be different).
You didn't say if it changed kernels on you, but just in case:
Check /proc/filesystems to make sure you still have iso9660 in
the
kernel.
