So far, I've been unable to get the LS-120 drive on my notebook to do right
under Linux. The drive is recognized as a secondary IDE device, but I am
unable to format an LS-120 diskette using mkfs or fdisk. I hear the drive
whirring, but I wind up seeing a bunch of error msgs. FYI, it's a Kapok
(branded as ProStar) model 8260, and the LS-120 drive is switchable w/a
regular FDD module. It may be an ATAPI interface.

Admittedly, I only spent twenty mins. on it before having to pack up for a
weekend trip. I'm going to try again tonight and post more details.
