1) Your hostname does not reverse map to the same host name

$ nslookup zfh-csg.penguinpowered.com
Name:    zfh-csg.penguinpowered.com
Address:  209.186.14.121

$ nslookup 209.186.14.121
Name:    ip-014-121.gw.total-web.net
Address:  209.186.14.121

2) That isn't the real MX address for penguinpowered.com

$ nslookup -query=mx penguinpowered.com
penguinpowered.com      preference = 10, mail exchanger = mail.justlinux.com
Authoritative answers can be found from:
mail.justlinux.com      internet address = 209.90.19.4

3) There is no MX record for zfh-csg.penguinpowered.com

$ nslookup -query=mx zfh-csg.penguinpowered.com
*** localhost can't find zfh-csg.penguinpowered.com: Non-existent
host/domain

4) Incidentally, you should never use 'root' as the return address

I made a typo. It is zfh-csg.penguinpowered.com. I seem to be getting some
mail but I'm just curious why I can ping but sendmail states host name error
