I'm taking a suggestion from Jim Kinney and giving it to you guys as well. 
Nvidia has Linux specific drivers for their chips on their website. I'm 
including the URL. They have a patched SVGA X-server, and MESA drivers for 
3D acceleration. The drivers are listed to work with all of nvidia's chips 
including the TNT2. Hope this helps!
