[ale] Suppressing Error Message

I just compiled and test ran Linux pre 2.2.0 patch 9.

All is working well with one exception - I keep getting an error message

172.16.81.44 sent an invalid ICMP error to a broadcast 

This message is repeated for a number of IP addresses. 

Until I can get these problems ironed out, how do I suppress the messages
from coming across whatever virtual terminal session I am using?
