All,

Who could recommend a _stable_ company to submit a proposal ?

A longtime client of mine in NE Atlanta is ready to upgrade or replace
their file & print server.
Their current quotes are for Novell,  with Compaq hardware.  I'm
discouraging
them from proprietary hardware, and suggesting that  Linux or UNIX might be
more 
appropriate.

Current server runs Netware 3.12, 50 user license.
Approx 25 workstations.  18 DOS, rest are mixed Windows.  
Current major apps are all DOS- based !  Currently 4 segments of thin
ethernet.

Reasons for upgrade:
Better stability.
Would like some priority users on 100mbit.
Facilitate internet access.
Sometime receive files in Word or Excel format.

Priority placed on solutions offered and ongoing, onsite support.
