[ale] Microsoft's Muddled OS Test

Seems the test is back in the news today (
http://abcnews.go.com/sections/tech/DailyNews/mslinux990428.html ) and
there's to be a second run in a couple of weeks. It also appears the
odds may again be stacked in MS' favor. In seems that Linus has offered
to tune the Linux box but is of the understanding that he's not allowed
in the lab like the NT engineers nor the folks from RedHat :(
