Steve, Thanks...one question though Are u sure that the forwarding and masq are not in the Kernel? I ran make menuconfig and it showed all that enabled when we 'upgraded' to 5.0. Also, i made a new kernel for 4.2 with them enabled, then ran ipfwadm and got no error messages, so i assumed it worked BAD ASSUMPTION? Thanks again Glen
