Not sure what the specs on the laptop I install'd slackware on
back in AR... but I had no problems installin Slackware 3.4 on a Toshiba
Satallite system... even managed to get X11 install'd and runnin on the
first try since it had a Cirrus Logic video card... Didn't try RedHat but
I do have some corporate reps I deal with that have RedHat 5.0 on their
IBM Thinkpads and supposedly with X11 as well... Haven't tried Debian or
had anyone I deal with comment on Debian install on laptops...
