[ale] Linux Apahce Database Connectivity

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knew if apache supports some type of database server
side javascript.  I am using PostgressSQL on linux redhat 5.1 with an apache
server and need to do back end sql querries for logins and displayed data
(according to who is logged in).  Using Enterprise server  from NS would
use SS JScript but with apache , I don't know.  Would someone point me in the
right direction?
