As I recall, the max size for a swap is 128Meg. However, one can use multiple
swap partitions (up to 16?). I have used 3 partitions before for swap (too
small and too many processes <G> ) You just need an entry for each partition
in /etc/fstab (if you desire availability at boot up time).
