I have two boxes with identical instalations of RedHat 4.2 and identical NICs. I can ping back and forth fine, I can also telnet from A to B. However, when I try to telnet from B to A I get the "Connected to" and the escape character message, but no login prompt. The connection eventualle just shuts down. Any ideas? Holland Griffis
