Description:
$GROUPNAME member Tom Limoncelli will be presenting a "dress
rehearsal" of the two presentations that he will be making at
Usenix LISA http://www.usenix.org/lisa97 next month. While
the papers can't be released until after the conference, this will
be the first time much of this material has been presented publicly.
The first topic can be summarized "How to treat users well,
without going crazy or becoming bored." (Not that he admits to
being 100% sane) The second topic will be a description of how
one part of Bell Labs split their network during the
AT&T/Lucent split using some interesting tools and techniques.
Tom Limoncelli is a co-founder of $GROUPNAME and is currently
a Member of Technical Staff at Lucent Bell Labs.
