(Wow - it's amazing all the junk you find when trying to find info. Though

Anyway, the thing that I find odd about the Intel/Digital thing is that
there is no info about it on Digital's page.  You'd think they'd want to
silence a rumor like this ASAP.  

I am hoping that the followup saying that they are going to cooperate is
true, if not that is the end of the Alpha, and goodbye to Jurassic Park 3
(do you really think all that can still be done on Intels? :)
