Ok,
  I d/l'ed the 2.1.23 kernel, compiled nice and clean.  I rebuilt the
latest
modules and pcmcia drivers.  It detects my modem and loads the
appropriate
module for my modem.  I build the latest pppd and installed it.  I ran
my
time-tested scripts and as soon as ppp connects, it gets (SIGHUP) and
exits.

  It used to do this once and the second time it would connect and give
me
my connection.  Now it exits every time.  Any Ideas?
