[ale] SCO letter

Hello ALEers,

I really thought that the letter mentioned earlier from SCO about
Linux being a has-been OS was a joke... but I just got mine in the
mail today... <hysterical laughter here> and it is REAL! Of course
they don't bother to back up any claims they make with real numbers
on performance or features, just proceed to trash Linux as a viable
OS for business use. There wasn't a feature they touted that Linux
either doesn't already have or can/will have in the future. Just
adding my heat to the already hot flames going around.

I do have a better reasoon to post than flame...

Does anybody have any good pointers to some plain english
explanations about how to work with PAM security, i.e. how to PAM-ify
or unPAM-ify a system, set up individual resources to use PAM
authentication, etc? Thanks in advance...

Dan
