In looking over the replies you got most of them were serious answers with
definate reasons why folks choose Linux over the "Free" version of SCO and
the other replies seemed to be pretty well restrained.

The drawback I have heard about the "Free" version of SCO is that you get
a single user system which to me doesn't seem like the real McCoy Unix.
