[ale] RE: Respawning to fast

It's a Motorola BitSurfer which I don't want initialized!  AN AT is fine   
with me as it will respond to an AT.  Where do I set up the init string   
so I can fix it?

Depends what's causing it.  Typicaly, mgetty won't respawn too fast   
unless
it's failing to init the modem.  Turn the debugging up, and read the log
file.
