[ale] Multiple Machines, same users?

I am about to (hopefully) inherit about 6 386's with minimal HD space,
but they will all have IP addresses. I want to set it up so that users
can log in from ANY of them, using same UID and passwd, and have their
same home directory. I know the dirs can be done with NFS. Is yppasswd
what I use to handle the users?

Are there any traps I should be looking for as I start on this?

Thanks.
