[ale] CBI courses on Unix

I'm trying to learn enough Unix so I can work with Linux effectively.
So far, I have been pointed to a lot of classes that I can't afford
(the consulting company I work for wimped out on paying for them
(not AMOCO))

Since my time is quite limited (along with my funds), I was thinking about
checking out a CBI type course I could plop in my pc.  Are any of these worth
the time/money?  I know LITTLE about Unix/Linux, but don't want to waste
my time/money.

Any suggestions would be extremely useful.
