VIPER

Call me optimistic, but here goes:  Does anyone know, or has anyone had any
success in configuring a VIPER graphics card for X?  I know that it is 
supposed to be un-doable, but if anyone has managed to get better than 16
colors, I'd like to know how myself.  Thanx for any and all info.
